The first round of Shaastra AI Challenge, an AI based hackathon is live now!

The Shaastra AI Challenge is part of a three day AI fest, the AI Confluence. Being one of the flagship events of Shaastra 2019, the mission of Shaastra AI Challenge is to create solutions and initiatives in AI, that will contribute to the social good and address the needs and challenges faced by humanity.

The ideation phase of the hackathon will be live for a duration of 20 days starting 11th November 2018. Prizes worth INR 2 Lakhs up for grabs.

The hackathon is divided into three broad themes/categories. Teams have to come up with innovative game-changing solutions under any one of these themes. Teams in each theme will be judged separately.

• Disaster Management.
• Education.
• Healthcare.

The hackathon is divided into three phases, each of which will have an elimination round.

• Phase I - Ideation: 11th November 2018 to 30th November 2018.
• Phase II - Prototype Development: 4th December 2018 to 23rd December 2018.
• Phase III - Grand Finale: 6th January 2019.

For the ideation phase, all you have to do is to pick an idea or problem pertaining to the particular theme which you want to address and tell us how you plan to go about it.
